Hey! I'm Noah!

Programmer, Hiker, and a Generally Cool Guy

I'm a Programmer

  • Name: Noah Denley
  • Job: College Computer Science Tutor
  • Age: 22 Years
  • Residence: United States
  • Hometown: La Center, WA

As someone who has lived in Washington for their whole life, I have a deep appreciation and fascination with the natural beauty of the world around me. I have always been an avid hiker and camper, and I have a deep love for the outdoors. I am also a huge fan of programming and computer science, and I have been programming since I was in high school. I am currently a Computer Science tutor at Washington State University Vancouver, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a programmer.

Graduating from WSU-V in May 2025, I'm excited to take the knowledge that I've gained and shared with others and apply it to the growing tech industry in order to make a positive difference. Most of my experience has been teaching others the foundational concepts of programming and computer science, but I can't wait to apply my knowledge to make something tangible, practical, and meaningful.

My Hobbies

Hiking

Hiking gives me a great oppotunity not only to reconnect with nature, but also gives me some much needed distance from the complexity and nuance of technology in my day-to-day life. It's a great way for me to balance two of my favorite things, and also improves my physical and mental health with every trail I explore.

Programming

Programming has been a passion of mine since I first started learning Scratch. There's so many powerful and fascinating technologies, languages, frameworks, and libraries that sometimes I don't know what to learn next! I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a programmer, and I'm excited to see where my skills take me in the future.

Cooking

Cooking is one of my favorite forms of expression, since it allows me to experiment with recipe combinations while exploring different cuisines from all around the world! Food is a universal language that brings people together and tells stories about our cultures, which is why I love cooking not only for myself but for others.
